Techniques and materials
The biggest news with the 2023 model is that the hit surface is considerably harder than the predecessor with 15k surface (instead of 12k). This means that the news is experienced harder, more powerful and gives more momentum in the offensive battles.
The core remains soft which, in combination with the hard surface, gives even more speed without more effort from the player. The core will also help reduce vibration.
The model remains hybrid format and with average balance which gives Good control in the defensive where you can break through the battle properly without the racket yourself creating too much speed. The hybrid form also contributes to An evenly distributed balance for increased control and more forgiving sweetspot.
The frame is made up of double layers of carbon fiber which makes the racket more durable when contacted with glass and walls. The surface of Electra ST2 has continued 3D structure but with elements of sandpaper - for best bite in the ball.
The racket comes with a foundation similar to those sitting on the tennis racket. The foundation has a foam rubbish edge that goes like a spiral after the shaft for an ergonomic grip in the hand. Of course, this can be removed and switched to another base line, read more about Grundlindor HERE.
